DIY Trip: Ultra Winds Mountain Resort

Every vacation I spent in CdEO, I always make sure to spend it well. I always plan a mini-trip together with my friends. This time, we decided to spend a stay-cation overnight in one of the newest resort in Bukidnon - Ultra Winds Mountain Resort

Though it's part of Bukidnon, it is just a 20 minute ride from the city proper of CdEO. The main reason why we chose to stay here is because of their infinity pool. Yes, you heard it right - INFINITY POOL! (Buti pa ang pool, may infinity. HAHAHA!)

I'm in loooooove! ♥

We booked an overnight double deluxe room which is good for four but since we are five, we have to pay for an additional bed. The room is nice and cozy with 2 double beds, additional mattress, 41-inches LED cabled TV, WIFI and mini-fridge. Plus, we have a free breakfast and free use of the infinity pool! It's complete! The room rate with the mentioned amenities is P4000.

Going uphill is a challenge because the road is bumpy and public vehicle is not available in the area. We decided to book their service which is at P899 - roundtrip pick-up and drop-off at Plaza Divisoria. 

We gathered at Dunkin Donuts' in front of Xavier Universit and we were so shocked when we saw the "service" that we will ride on. We are not going on a military camp, aren't we?

This will be our safe haven as we climb the mountain. Lol! 

(PS, this was taken when we are about to leave. But yeah, just look at how big the vehicle is - and we are only 5!)

Even taking groufie is so hard because we were so scattered across the car and it's so big.

When we arrived at around 5PM, we were greeted by this very native and classy front desk/lobby. The staffs are friendly and nice. WARNING! Loaded photos ahead! ✌

Towards the end of the road is their function hall for wedding, birthdays and parties.

Now, I wonder how this cute yellow car manage to take the road less traveled? 😮

Whoever introduced the concept of Infinity Pool is a genius. Seriously, who can say no to this relaxing and enchanting moment?

The next day, we woke up at around 7AM after sleeping at around 3AM. Hahaha! We took our free breakfast - you can choose from their menu and it comes with a drink (coffee, milk, milo, iced tea or fruit juice). I got their Tapsilog and coffee. It tastes good! 

After having a quick breakfast, we decided to have our morning swimming. Waaaaa! Staycation at its' finest huh?

I just can't say NO! ♥

We checked out at 12 noon and unfortunately, I lost the baller which serves as an "ID" for a checked-in guest so I had to pay P50. But overall, my experience is very good! We had fun! :)

If you are planning to have your trip in CdEO or Bukidnon, this is a must-visit resort. Really perfect for relaxing and chilling. It's definitely worth every centavo! I'll be back soon, when the extension of the pool is done. Yey!
